An October month punctuated by 4 must-see sporting events in Brittany

Oceania is involved in sporting events in the region. Especially on events in the 4 corners of Brittany between October 15 and November 6. Discover our Oceania hotels during this sporting month!

This month of October is very hectic sportily throughout Brittany, the Vannes Marathon, the Green Marathon in Rennes, the Brest Open and to conclude this fabulous month of October: The Route du Rhum in Saint-Malo.

Each race in Vannes on 15 and 16 October 2022

 Across land and sea, the events of the Vannes Marathon will make you discover the most beautiful landscapes of the Gulf of Morbihan, along the bay while passing through the centre-City, marathoners will live effort and pleasure throughout the course.   

For this 22nd edition, 4 sports events are proposed: the Gwened Nocturne a 10km semi-night race to walk the city at night, the Relais Entreprises to build links with 4 of his colleagues during a relay of 42,195km, the Duo de l'Hermine to share the marathon in two, and for the most solitary the Marathon and its 42,195km!

Race for the planet at the Rennes Green Marathon on 22 and 23 October 2022 

As every year, the Marathon Vert of Rennes carries the values of solidarity and sustainable development through its ecological commitment. Of the 5 events proposed, each kilometre covered is part of this approach: "1km covered = 1 tree planted" with the Yves Rocher Foundation! 
In 10 years, Marathon Vert participants planted 1,025,763 trees in Ethiopia, India, Portugal, France and Germany.  For the 11th edition of the Rennes Green Marathon, many new features: a 100% urban course and two new half-night races of 5km and 10km!

Game, Brest et Match! The Brest Open will take place from 24 to 30 October 2022

Take off, follow the Route du Rhum from October 25 to November 6, 2022 

Off the coast of Saint-Malo, 138 solitary sailors will take off to conquer the first place of the Route du Rhum - Destination Guadeloupe.  

The festivities will be grand from October 25 in Saint-Malo, during the 13 days that precede the official departure on November 6, Saint-Malo will live to the rhythm of this great event and will try to make an unforgettable experience for the hundreds of thousands of visitors expected.   

8,000 km separate Saint-Malo from Guadeloupe while only 300 m separate the departure of the Route du Rhum from the Oceania hotels. So why not enjoy the festivities from the balcony of your hotel room?
